Fireplace Inserts - tiled
Tiled fireplace inserts first started becoming popular around 1890 through to the Edwardian 'Art Nouveau' period and the First World War. The tiles are double fired so as to be able to withstand the heat from the fire.
The tiles are in boxes of 10 (5 tiles for each side). Please be aware that some fireplaces such as the 'Toulouse', require 2 boxes of tiles.
Fireplaces can also be fitted with decorative cast iron panels
