This medium sized hearth is suitable for use with all of the larger inserts/surrounds.
The hearth can be used with medium or large sized solid fuel fires as it is cut into four sections with expansion joints. These joints allow the hearth to expand and contract, stopping the granite from cracking due to heat from the fire.

When choosing the hearth, we recommend the width to be between the fireplace base width and shelf width.
